As a native Houstonian and son of a successful homebuilder here, David E. Roberts comes by his talents for construction and real estate development naturally. He bolstered his personal childhood experiences by studying real estate at the University of Houston, and he hasn’t sat still since.
David founded Roberts Construction in 1984, initially choosing to focus on commercial interiors. Over the next fifteen years, he handled the interior build-outs of major restaurants in Houston and Dallas, as well as the construction of several Continental Airlines’ Presidents Club facilities and medical offices for clients including Kelsey-Seybold.
In 1999, David formed Roberts Development/Construction, Inc., to reflect his growing interest in the development of unique business parks. His upscale medical/professional office building concept has created an interesting niche in the market. What sets these properties apart are top-of-the-line amenities, such as controlled-access gates, along with well-enforced deed restrictions, all designed to protect the integrity of these impressive business parks.
